How to Determine a bill Of Materials for Ambiance Lx Low Voltage Linear Lighting

After selecting the approriate wattage lamps and lamp holders for you job, you can determine a list of lineal lighting components for your project.
1. Measure the length of the surface "the run", in inches.
2. Spacing for task allumination is usually 6".
3. Cable: Figure the inches of cable required based on the length of all the runs. You may need additional cable to reach your transformer.

Note: Using Ambiance low voltage indoor cable the maximum watts per run is limited to 300W for 12V or 500W for 24V. In most locals you may need additional protection when running in walls. Check your local codes.

5. Lampholders: Divide the run by the spacing chosen. Tis gives you the bumber of lampholders
   
   Example:10' run = 120", 120" / 6" spacing = 20 lampholders
6. Lamps: The number of lamps depends on the lampholder selected.
